Hello everyone,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. We now seem to be in a situation where we are able to do more and more but in quite a different way.

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. The restrictions on our lives are starting to ease. From Monday shops will start to open. Newark Park, our nearest National Trust property, opens on Monday with time slots available for booking from Friday the previous week. The estate walks, grounds and gardens will be open but not the house. Importantly the toilets will be open.

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. On Thursday we heard that we will be able to meet with other families in open spaces or our own gardens up to a maximum of six people. Some National Trust properties are opening next week but not Newark Park yet. This means that there will be more traffic on the roads so we will need to be a little more observant when we are out and about.

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. The Gloucestershire police 'Safe and Social Driving' campaign that I mentioned last week has been having an effect with speed awareness monitors on some of our local roads catching a number of speeding motorists.

Dear All,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. Now that the lockdown has eased a little the common and the lanes in the village are a little busier. Sadly there has been some vandalism and theft reported on Everything Amberley. But, on the plus side, Winston’s have re-opened and have a queuing system. On one of our walks this week we saw a number of people sitting on the grass gazing across the valley whilst enjoying an ice cream.
