Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. The first ten days of lockdown have passed. As before these bulletins will be on www.amberley.org.uk .

If people are looking for a place to go where there is takeaway food and a good walk we went to Newark Park yesterday. It is our nearest National |Trust property. It is now open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pre-booking is required. The Pavilion serves food and drink to take away. There are benches in the gardens. As well as three good estate walks you can walk down to Ozleworth Park and look at the church, an unusual Norman building. Also in the gardens there is an exhibition of over 30 sculptures which runs until Sunday 29th November. If anyone has similar ideas, then please let me know.

People who are shielding or self-isolating may still need our support. Members of our pastoral team are available to call people who are struggling with loneliness.

The church will be open each day as normal for private prayer but with socially distanced seating.
There will be two services broadcast this Sunday using Zoom, one at 8 o’clock and one at 10 o’clock. I will also publish an act of worship. If you are interested in these please contact me.

Listed below is an update from Minchlife about local businesses and other contact numbers.
I note that our local organic soap producer Soap Folk has restarted local deliveries. And Jane at the Amberley is doing Friday night fish and chips!

Keep safe and keep in touch. Please call me on 873176 if you need help.
Have a good week
Reverend John
