Local Coronavirus Support as at 22/05/2020

Dear All,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. Now that the lockdown has eased a little the common and the lanes in the village are a little busier. Sadly there has been some vandalism and theft reported on Everything Amberley. But, on the plus side, Winston’s have re-opened and have a queuing system. On one of our walks this week we saw a number of people sitting on the grass gazing across the valley whilst enjoying an ice cream.

Local Coronavirus Support as at 15/05/2020

Dear All,

Firstly, I hope that everyone is keeping well. The lockdown continues but with fewer restrictions. On Wednesday we saw our first golfer and our first cows on the common. On Saturday the Church would have hosted the annual newcomers party. Sadly we cannot welcome everyone who has moved into the village over the last year in person but we welcome you virtually.

Amberley Inn Shop hours update


We will be reducing the days of operation to Monday’s, Tuesdays and Fridays due to demand levels.

Operation of preordering will remain the same but collections between 10.30 and 12 will only be on these days with immediate effect. Thank you very much those who have supported the shop and your local pub

Face Masks

Gina Hastings has had a good take up on her offer of free re-usable face masks - 20 have gone out so far! However, she has run out of white 4mm elastic. She has some on order but needs some as soon as possible! Also more pure cotton material may be needed with a 400 to 500 thread count.
